Guinness Gallagher worked to bring together a consortium of power companies and local community interests to bid for a small hydro dam in their region. In anticipation of the sale of the asset, we worked to form a consortium of those who could provide the best elements for success. We then worked with the consortium to facilitate the Government bringing the asset to market within an extremely volatile political environment. This required interaction with central, local and indigenous politicians across the political divide, together with assisting government officials to satisfy themselves as to the process.

Our success in bringing together disparate groups and working with a coalition government in an uncertain environment demonstrated our comprehensive understanding of the political, social, cultural and economic aspects of completing a transaction involving community assets.
